What listing information may include
Listings on Plan Wine Tasting may include publicly available business details such as winery or venue name, address, region, website, phone number, business hours, tasting availability, reservation requirements, business type, and discount-related notes when a program is known to us.
Map and guide pages are designed to help wine travelers compare geography, plan routes, and find tasting-discount context. They are planning tools, not a substitute for confirmation with each business.
Some fields are richer for popular tasting corridors—Napa, Sonoma, Finger Lakes, and Willamette Valley—because we prioritize regions travelers use most often for day routes. Newer or less-visited listings may show fewer optional fields until we can confirm them.
Where listing data comes from
Primary inputs include public winery and tasting-room websites, published pass and passport partner lists, regional tourism materials, and structured location data we already store for map pins.
We also accept corrections from travelers, winery staff, and partners. When sources disagree, we favor the business’s own published hours, reservation page, and contact details—and we may leave a field blank rather than guess.
Discount flags are not a claim that every tasting experience is free or reduced. They usually mean a venue participates in a known pass program or has a publicly listed tasting deal that we have associated with the listing.
How listings are updated
We update listing information through periodic reviews, publicly available business sources, and corrections submitted by users, winery representatives, and partners. Updates are not continuous or real-time for every field on every listing.
Because tasting fees, reservation policies, passport programs, and hours change frequently, travelers should verify details on the winery's official website or by phone before visiting.
When we receive a clear correction with enough detail to identify the business, we review it and apply the change when it checks out. Vague reports still help us prioritize a listing for a later pass, but they may take longer to resolve.
What this process does not guarantee
Plan Wine Tasting does not guarantee that every fee, blackout date, party-size rule, or walk-in policy is current on every visit. Pass operators and wineries change rules mid-season, and private or reserve experiences often sit outside standard discount offers.
Use the map and regional guides to shortlist stops and corridors, then confirm the exact tasting experience you reserved. If something looks wrong in our data, reporting it improves the next traveler’s plan.
How to request a correction
If you see outdated hours, incorrect contact information, a missing discount flag, or another listing issue, email support@planwinetasting.com. Include the business name, location, and what should change.
Winery and hospitality businesses may also email support@planwinetasting.com to request updates to descriptions, links, images, or reservation details shown on Plan Wine Tasting.
Useful reports usually include the listing name as shown on our map, the town or region, a link to the winery’s official page when possible, and a short note on the incorrect field versus the correct value.
Frequently asked questions
How often is winery information reviewed?
We periodically review listings and apply corrections when they are submitted or when we identify outdated fields. Not every listing is verified on a fixed schedule with each winery.
Should I rely on Plan Wine Tasting for reservation policies?
Use our listings for planning context, then confirm reservation requirements, party-size limits, and tasting fees directly with the winery before you travel.
Where can I report incorrect listing information?
Email support@planwinetasting.com with the business name and the correction you are requesting.
Why might a tasting discount be missing from a listing?
A winery may have joined a pass after our last review, the offer may apply only to a specific flight, or we may not yet have linked that program to the listing. Report the business and program name so we can review it.
Do you publish real-time tasting fees?
No. Fees and waived-flight rules change often. Our pages help you compare regions and find likely discount participants; always confirm current pricing when you book.
